Description

Join author Neil Humphreys on a one-hour walking tour around Marina Bay and find out the real story behind his Inspector Low series of crime thrillers. Visit prominent locations featured in both novels — Marina Bay Sins and Rich Kill Poor Kill — and learn where the inspiration came from, who some of the characters are based on, and how the writer gets into the minds of mad men and the maddening Inspector Low.

With wit, sarcasm and insight, Humphreys will discuss how the sleazy side of Singapore fits so snugly within the sexy island, a paradox he addresses in his books. He will also touch on the perils and pitfalls of being a full-time writer in Singapore. The walking tour will cover the Fullerton Hotel, Merlion Park, Marina Bay Sands’ roof and event plaza, and will finish for lunch at Lau Pa Sat, where Humphreys will answer questions and sign copies of his books.
