Living Green: Growing Kitchen Scraps Book Launch: 11am – 12pm
Living Green: Let’s Replant and Reduce Food Waste!: 12.15pm – 1.45pm
Meet author Nur’afifah Binte Mohd Hussain and illustrator Shakina Razale as they share the inspiration behind their book Growing Kitchen Scraps, which will officially be launched at the event. Then, enjoy a fun programme involving storytelling and station games, designed for children aged 5-8 years. Children will discover the global issue of increasing food waste, and learn what they can do at home to help minimise this.

Yaa Bunayya SG is a collective that curates programmes and resources to help families improve the well-being and development of their children. It has self-published five books and collaborated with schools and organisations to reach out to the community through literacy and hands-on activities, encouraging a holistic learning experience for young children.
