Description

This free, public reading will showcase the published fiction of two of the current students in LASALLE’s MA Creative Writing, the first taught creative writing master’s degree in Singapore and Southeast Asia. Hear the superb fiction of Chen Cuifen and Seema Punwani.

Cuifen’s short story Reunion Dinner is published in an international anthology co-published by Ethos Books (Singapore) and Margaret River Press (Australia); it was discussed at length recently in a Singapore Writers Festival 2019 panel. Seema will read from her novel Cross Connection, which she launched at the Pune International Literary Festival, India. Seema also appeared at SWF 2019, with her fiction featured in Best Asian Short Stories 2019.
